The propane truck, owned by the Gas Company, and shown above, collided with a dump truck and overturned. The dump truck was exiting an asphalt company on Malakole Street near Hanua Street at about 1:15 p.m., said Honolulu fire Capt. Terry Seelig. Firefighters sealed off the area and confirmed no propane was released.

Seelig said the propane truck driver was treated for injuries that were not critical. He added that a wrecker company righted the propane truck, and the road was reopened.

Paramedics treated the driver and took him to a nearby hospital for further medical care.

Four Campbell Industrial Park businesses were evacuated yesterday after the 1:15 p.m. incident, said Honolulu fire Capt. Terry Seelig. Firefighters isolated the area and confirmed no propane was released. The Gas Company employee driving the propane truck wass treated for injuries that were not critical.
