Children's Jackets with Drawstring Recalled

Comments Off

Youth jackets sold by Cobmex Inc. have been recalled because they contain a drawstring that pose a strangulation risk. They have a drawstring in the hood and possibly in the waist as well.

The nylon, zipper front jackets were sold in youth sizes and have a Cobmex neck label. The jackets were manufactured in various colors, including navy, black, green, red and wine. Only youth-size jackets with drawstrings are included in the recall.

Consumers should immediately remove the drawstrings to eliminate the hazard or return the jacket to the store where purchased for a refund.

You can contact the company if you have questions. Their phone number is (877) 926-2639.
